Over the last 3 weeks I have been thinking hard about the text selection that I have incorporated into my reading programme. During the last two terms, I have used a lot of fiction based texts, with a little bit of non-fiction. As a class we have worked our way through 2 novels; The Witches by Roald Dahl and Wonder by R.J. Palacio. So far this year I have not incorporated any poetry and I would also like to create a couple of novel studies for my more advanced reading groups.
